“When your dog deserves more than just a walk, send them on an adventure”

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am the Team Leader of the Paws 4 Thought Dog Squad, or P4T for short.

Paws 4 Thought opened for business in 2009. I am qualified in Canine 1st Aid and insured through Pet Business Insurance … these will be shown at the complimentary meet and greet. I also have a diploma in animal communications and have attended many seminars including dog law and TTouch.

Prior to opening P4T, I was employed by Guide Dogs for the blind, working in the kennel environment. Having grown up living with qualified guide dogs, it was definitely a job I absolutely loved! Not just a dog lover, I spent a number of years as a foster carer for Cats Protection League, specialising in the socialisation of feral cats. This passion is still with me today, the longer it takes to gain an animal’s trust, the much more of the reward.

We have 2 beautiful dogs of our own Maddie & Frankie; Maddie is a Labrador and an old girl now at 14. She still loves to join our dog squad when she can and Frankie, well she would probably rather stay home on the sofa than exercise! She is a miniature Daschund who thoroughly enjoys the socialisation part of our adventures if it does take her some persuasion to leave her comfy spot in the morning.

The P4T dogs are our ‘squad’ and are very special to us. The majority of our squad members are Spaniels, we believe our adventures suit their energy levels, but all breeds are very much welcome.

Our commitment to them is :-
– To help there Pawrents by providing essential exercise when they can’t.
– To provide an enjoyable age and breed appropriate adventure.
– To provide their Pawrents with total peace of mind whilst their dog is in our care.
– To support them from puppy hood right up to old age.
– To work to constantly improve our knowledge and provide an exclusive and premium service.
– To send them home with a happy tale or two!

We are dedicated to sharing the role of exercising our squad members.
